Blank Brass Tags (20-pack) 38mm

Standard Brass Tag blank, measuring 38mm in diameter, or one and 1/2 of an inch.

These tags are 0.9mm thick and are solid Brass, grade CZ108, with a brass plating.

They are barrel-burnished to a satin sheen finish and are suitable for engraving or stamping. This is a good size tag if you need it to be prominent and visible. We have sold these to shipping companies to tag containers and other shipped goods, as well as equipment used at sea. You will find our large brass tags on oil rigs in the North Sea - and in attics marking domestic plumbing units. Brass is one of the best metals to use for general tagging. It is softer than Steel, but more resilient than Aluminium. One of its most attractive features is that it's naturally antimicrobial - germs tend to die when settling on Brass.
