Steel Etched Asset Tags

We can produce steel plates and asset tags in fine detail through a process of photo-chemical etching. This process involves adhering an emulsion "mask" to the plate, where the non-masked areas (the characters or graphics) can be etched away by either acid or other electro-chemical processes. After etching, the characters are "recessed" into the plate, allowing for a colour infill (usually a duco paint, similar to the paint used in the automotive industry). The text and graphic elements are therefore represented in a vivid colour contrast to the base metal.
